Meet the Coach
In the early 1980’s Alberto Salazar was the best marathoner in the world, winning three consecutive New York City Marathons and the Boston Marathon in the span of three years. Thirty years later Alberto is now widely-regarded as one of the top coaches in the world. Following his distinguished success in the 2012 London Olympic games (where athletes Mo Farah and Galen Rupp finished 1st and 2nd, respectively), he was honored with Track and Field’s prestigious 2013 Coaching Achievement award.
